Which phone system do you use?
Choose your phone system and check the audio format and setup instructions for your product.
Why the format matters: a phone system will not play just any audio file. Most systems want a WAV at 8 kHz in mono, some accept only µ-law or a-law, and a few refuse MP3 altogether. Upload the wrong file and you get an error, or worse, noise and crackle on the caller's end.
Each page provides checked format information and any verified setup instructions, with sources. Where documentation does not confirm an exact format, we say so.
Is your system not listed?
Choose “Other / not sure” to receive the available WAV variants and MP3. Ask your administrator to confirm the required format first; some systems have additional requirements.
No phone system, just your own mobile?
Mobile voicemail often does not support direct file uploads. Read your carrier’s instructions before ordering.
